I wish I could use a 35mm lens for a kingfisher. :) I like the setting, soft light and details. A bit more room top and bottom and a slight head turn would make this even better. Thanks for sharing!

Wow indeed, a 35mm lens for a kingfisher! Impressive. For me the head angle looks great as is...he is looking out into the lake in the background. I love the light color and the slight iridescence caught on the feathers. A tiny bit of fill flash might be of benefit if it could be accomplished without scaring the bird.

Lovely widen angle image, Haim, hard to understand how you can do this :)

Agree on a little touch of flash to bring the color out, I used Viveza to bring up the brightness and saturation in the blues, hope you like it!

The repost definitely has more punch, but the original ain't too shabby either. I can't even take pictures of house sparrows with a 35mm lens!

I like this very much. The wide angle perspective gives the kingfisher a thoughtful look and feel.

Oh I love this Haim. The composition is just beautiful and I love the color and detail that you are able to get. I would love to have had the opportunity when I was there. Many thanks for sharing.
