Male Pileated woodpecker. I photographed him near Victoria, BC. There wasn't much light so I had to lower my shutter speed but the 400DO II is so light I could easily hand hold at slow shutter speeds with IS set to mode 1. Photo was made from a blind.



1D-X 400 DO II + 1.4X III. ISO 1600. f/5.6 at 1/200 sec. Hand held from blind. processed with DPP 4.3
