    Default Cedar Waxwing In Fog

Very cloudy and foggy this morning but between the showers, I managed to capture this cedar waxwing along the edge of the sand dunes overlooking the ocean.

    Nikon D300, 500 VR and TC17EII, ISO800, f 9, UniWB preset, CW metering, +2.7 EV, BB -3 EV

I know, it could use a frame :)

Agree about the frame Jim. It's a nice photo, and you did very well with the exposure. DOF is perfect and sharpness is good too. I like the eye contact. I think the bird should be moved a little to the right in the photo (I'm using my imagination to guess where the photo ends :)). Thanks for posting!

Great find and eye contact. Guessing where the image borders might be, it seems a bit centered. :) Maybe a tad less contrast.

I love frameless high key images, and this one has enough detail in the bird to work.
Judging by the copyright, and supposing it has standard vertical dimension, I'd like more room to the left.
