This is a image I have wanted to witness let alone photograph for a lot of years ,a wild and free Male Kingfisher who is just about to present a fish to the female ,this is called the gift were the male passes the fish to the female during the mating season ,in the background you can just see the female coming into land ,years of watching and studying the bird eventually paid off for me in this shot ,non workshop ,guide,audio, or bait was used to get this shot,,,canon 1d mk3 400mm 5.6 iso 800 +1/3 ev 1/250 sec

I especially like this image as kingfishers are one of my favorite birds. Congrats on having the perseverance to capture such an image. The full sequence would probably be great for Gabriela's stories forum. The IQ on the male and fish looks good to me - as a nit I would check the noise level on the male's tail. In a perfect world, the female's approach would not be blocked by the male but this is still an excellent behavioral image. Congrats again.
