    Straying from the head angle rules for this one, I realize. Curious as to how you react to it.
    Created last week on the Texas Coastal Bend.

    1/800, f 5.6, iso800
    Canon 1dx, 600f4 + 1.4tc + lowered tripod

    Don't mind the head turn as you have really nice detail on the whites here. About as good as exposure as one can get...

    This is really nice Grace.
    Love the IQ and the absolutely perfect exposure on the whites.
    Great pose and low POV. Great water color in the BG.

    What a super image, Grace, and glad you were able to photograph on your trip to TX. No issues with the HA at all. Love this fun pose. It appears as though another pelican might be flying in a little to close to this one!

    Not the classic head angle as already mentioned, but still works due to the action of the head throw.
