    Nice to have both in the image. Is there a slight magenta cast? I'm not feeling excited by this one for some reason, perhaps the head positions just aren't drawing me in to the photograph?

    Very nice to get 2 sharp birds in the frame. The near one is ever so slightly soft from DOF issue but I think you can fix that with a bit more sharpening.
    BG color palette is bit plain but compliments the birds.
    I would clone out the circular blue blob in the water that is below and between the 2 ducks. I would also clone out the extra catch light in the female's eye.
    Good pic for a textbook that shows the differences between the male and female,

    Agree with the above Karl. but I can see where you are coming from. The colours on both birds 'fit' lovely with the setting.
