    Hello Everyone,
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year with lots of photographic opportunities
I also wish to thank you from the heart for your kind contributions in this Forum! I truly appreciate your support and I do realise it is hard work, processing three or more frames at a time

The other day we came upon little Pumba during a game drive at Zulu Nyala Private Reserve. He showed great defiance and even grunted a few "swear words" towards this elephant, who found the little warthog to be quite a nuisance. Despite the elephant's attempts to chase him, the warthog stood his ground...Lighting conditions were very harsh but I decided to grab a few frames, just to share:)

What a fun sequence, Gabriela. I think the 2nd frame is my fav with the head and tail up in the air!!! Really shows off its defiant attitude.

Gabriela, I like this even more than your post in OOTB. What a cheeky and brave little fellow. Would the ellie actually "try" to hurt him?

    It's already 2016 is AUstralia.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Dear Marc and Glennie, and Happy New Year to you both!

And thank you for viewing and comments:)

Given the drought we've been experiencing for almost a year now, there is great competition for food and water - the level of tolerance between animals is very low, especially at waterholes.

In this case Glennie, the elephant would have "dealt" with this warthog, but the little fellow was quick and when things got serious he ran away:)

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

What a wonderful sequence. Great clarity and color to the shots. You handled the light conditions very well.
