    Default British Columbia Eagle

I photographed this handsome juvenile eagle having breakfast first thing on Christmas day, north of Vancouver. I hope you like it and happy holidays

Certainly a white Christmas for you Arash, looks like there is not a lot left of that breakfast, detail and IQ are spot on as always, love the cold feel of this image.

Hi Arash, was this on route via Sea to Sky highway, as I'm very please to see the good dumping of snow further on?

Good to see others tucking in on Xmas day, albeit perhaps scavenging here. The snow makes for a different backdrop, I just hope both are around in 7 weeks time.
    Have a good Christmas Arash.

Pretty neat how those talons are firmly pressing down on breakfast. Good techs and processing. Good plump pose.

Hi Arash - Nice feather details and I like the blues adding to the cold feeling of the image. The talons really pop from the bg too.

Happy Holidays to you too, Arash

This is perfectly framed and I like the behavioural aspect included. Love the bright orange talons holding on to the prey, and those ruffled feathers:)

Nice pose and HA, lovely detail and sharpness, superb techs as usual.

I love the blue tinge of the snow but somehow wish for a warmer look/feel from the subject.

Superb capture Arash, a pleasure to view!

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Looks cold and hungry, nice DOF for the snow texture.

Arash you've created a very pleasing image of a bird that is often bedraggled in appearance. I love it's yellow smile. If you are around the Vancouver area for a while you might want to come out to Ladner and collect some shots of the eagles working on new nests out here. They've been very busy for the last month and there are a couple within 30 yds. of the road at fairly low height.

Great image, Arash. Excellent IQ and pose. I can't believe they have snow and we have rain here. It us is usually the other way around.
