Clever! We, too, had rain on Xmas day.

Over 3 days we got almost 2 inches.

Ours came in about 8 hrs. A city 40 mi north of us got 5.9" and they had severe flooding that got in homes and flooded the roads.

In the rainfall department, we got over 7"! Thank goodness it wasn't snow! The addition of the shiny red ball was just the right touch for a Christmas card! (And the black rabbit!) Merry, happy holidays to you!
