Hi Will, nice feather detail, lovely background. Seeing this image makes me think about giving the ones at a local lake a go. Thank you for sharing.

Great portrait with excellent detail.Love that eye and the fluffed up feathers on the neck.
I am not loving the stray feather bits and would consider cloning them out.

Beautiful portrait, William. Striking detail and like the unique neck and back of head feather structure. Great eye ring and colorful beak.

Hi Will, lovely portrait, all looks very natural, I might suggest looking at a bit more mid tone in the bill for a tad more depth, just watch that SS .

Hi Will, Very nice portrait. Exquisite detail :) Another vote to clone out the feathers at the tip of the bill. Perhaps clone out the small piece of vegetation at lower left of the nare. Merry Christmas Will! Ross

Very nice piece of work Will, nice and sharp with plenty of detail, and all on a good clean bg.

    Very Happy Christmas Will.

Very nice portrait with great IQ. I'd darken the bill a little. Well done.

    Hello Will,

Super portrait of this lovely Greylag and some nice detail too I like the colours, great BG, sharpness is spot-on.

Would you mind trying Steve's suggestion for a tad more mid-tone, I think you'll love the result

    Wonderful work Will,

...and Merry Christmas to you, as well as wishes of a Happy New Year!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Awesome!!! Amazing how much detail there is in the bill...Love those toothlike protrusions, I think they are called "tomia"?

Well done William, I love the RP. It was Steve's suggestion, BTW...He pushes me too, LOL

I am really enjoying your work, missing your lovely images in Story Sequences though

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
