Love the look, trying to decide how I would crop this. I definitely want to take some off of the bottom, I think I'd have to play with it to give any other suggestions! But the shot of the head is great!
Unique and effective! Makes me smile. It is a difficult choice how to crop. I like the hint of other animals in the background so I would leave the top as it is, but as Warren says, I would remove at least half of the snow from the bottom, as nothing is happening there.
I think centering the eagle right to left is a good choice -- it adds to the uniqueness of the image and fits with the centered perspective on the head. If it were looking to one side, it might not be as good.
I like the exposure and sharpness. The color on the beak might be just a little too saturated.
Hope you got more of this guy -- it looks like it might have been a good day!
Hello Gio. I love the comical expression of the eagle and agree with Diane and Warren about cutting off the bottom which has nothing in it to tell the story. Is this a big crop from the original? I like the square crop and I might be inclined to take some off the sides and top as well. I would love to see the original.
I like the square crop too, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt! I can't help but picture this as a poster with something at the top like "You are being watched!" So here was the crop I did from the jpg. Of course it would be much better from the original sized image, but hopefully you get the idea!
