    These guys will catch and eat anything and everything they can get their bills to!! I like the takeoff pose, and the fish prey. Quite a large dip in the water, neat. The harsh light and high dynamic range scene gave you blocked blacks and blown whites, perhaps that can be tamed in raw conversion - worth a try.

    It does! I suspect there is not much to do about the white on the fish, but there is a very nice difference in the gull's black primaries.
