    It would be great to know where and when you took the image. Your subject is harshly side-lit but you did a good job with exposure, especially considering the subject is more or less black and white.

    Nice sharpness, pose, and composition, Jonathan. The bird stands out nicely from the background and the worm is a plus. I agree with John about the harsh light though you handled it well. You might consider cloning the specular highlights on the worm.

    Great pose, details and the snack adds to it. I agree regarding the sidelight and also wish for a more uniform BG.
