Beautiful image Gail. I love the way the berries are framing the bird and the soft contrast of the bg. Take more photos!

Love it Gail.nice over the shoulder look, great colour , shows off the waxy tips really well. Bg sets the bird off a real treat. If mine I would just clone out the part of the berry showing at the side of the tail.

I suppose one always needs new stuff, but you keep coming up with real beauties from your old files. This is one. The bg color is perfect for the bird, and I love the look-back pose. Wonderful simplicity in this. I agree the berries showing from behind the tail are a mild distraction.

Beautiful bird, nicely shown. I am really liking the composition of this image, looks like it should be on a Christmas card. Thank you for sharing.

I like the look back pose, perch, complimentary BG, IQ and composition. I am okay with the berries at the tail but could see a version with them removed as well. Beautiful image Gail!

What a fun pose, Gail. I've never seen anything like it!!! Great choice in composition and terrific color palette. The dangling berries are perfectly positioned!

A perfect look back pose for a BOWA, Gail. You've managed exceedingly well, to show the finest silky feather detail. Love the chunks taken out of the berries and small bits left on beak. Beautiful light and complimentary BG.

Great pose Gail, not a view I've seen before. Details top notch as always.

They've started to arrive on our shores now for winter, but not in big numbers yet - here's hoping...

Hi Gail, great look back pose - hope he didnt 'crick' his neck in the process. The finer plumage detail stands out very well, sharpness spot on, and he's perched perfectly between the two bunches of berries. You couldnt have chosen a better coloured BG to compliment the Waxwing

Very nice Gail. The balanced in the frame berries is wonderful and that inquisitive upward HA adds much to the image. The details look great and I really like the complementary BG colors. Perfect comp too.
The Berries behind the tail are not ideal, but not a deal breaker either. Well done.
