    I was happy to find about eight piping plovers at our local beach this evening on the Long Island Sound. There is one chick so far.

    A very nice portrait, Grace. A classic pose with good eye contact. Good sharpness on the bird and a nicely blurred background. I like the reddish-orange tones of the beak and legs. Well done.

    Wow that is a beauty! Exposure and sharpness appear optimal, well done! I like the colours, bright but not too intense.

    Great light, angle and details. I might crop it a bit tighter.
