Great the way you have caught the action on this one, would like to see it with the highlights toned down a bit, does draw my eye a bit, that said a cracking image that I would be very pleased with.

Hi Colin, I like your result here - cool pose, and different too. Striking colours on this fellow, and through no fault of yours, the 'highlighted' speckled BG above the bird is not ideal.

If only you could have moved more to the right to get the bird against the greens and away from the bright spots. That would also have eliminated the leaf in RUC.
Really like the colors and the feeding/balancing pose and the eucalyptus foliage the rosella is hanging from.

What a fun pose. Gail had a good point, but it's tough to know from this end whether you had the opportunity to take that step.

Bummer about the right half of the BG, but the pose is so entertaining...just look at that bird's face, it was having fun with you!

Excellent image. Love the colours on bird hanging pose.

Thanks for the comments. As for the bright BG, there was no time to relocate, it all happened too quickly with the bird never still. I could transfer the darker BG from the lower side but then that wouldn't be the true picture?
