Lovley image, and I like that you chose horizontal in this case b/c I think seeing more of the perch in vertical may have hurt the image. The hint of green in the BG is nice as is the pose. I am curious as to why you are using such a low ISO. If the bird had flown, you would probably not have been able to acquire a sharp image.

Nice pose and background. The bird has some magenta cast on.

very nice topside view and a beautiful BG. I think this works better in a portrait presentation. It could also use more sharpening. Marina is spot on, by using a very low ISO your shutter speed is marginal which results in border line sharpness.

    Hi,

Thanks to all for your comments. This time I did not worry about shutter speed in case the bird would have flown because I was too close to the bird to take a picture of him flying.

Even for perched shots when using a long lens such slow shutter speed can hinder sharpness. even at the small size you can tell the head isn't quite tack sharp. your camera can easily handle much higher ISO so I wouldn't personally risk it.

Gerald I like the simplicity of this shot, sure Arash is right re sharping ,still like the overall effect of the image.
