Red-bellied Woodpecker
This was taken at my backyard set up last month. I messed up on the settings, must have been trying to shoot ducks in flight and didn't adjust my settings. I could have used more DOF on the head area. Did some beak clean up. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Jim , Really looks fine to me. Simple, clean yet lots of interest. You might could apply the tiniest bit of sharpening to the head area if it bothers you.
Another good self-critique. D-O-F is a bit short of the head.... Did you try a contrast mask on the head? a

The repost looks better but best to focus on the face in the field and try to work at f/13 or so. Even f/9 might do it. a
