Hi Nonda, I like this very much and | can easily see why this is your favourite garden plant. That subtle powder blue combined with the yellow is gorgeous.

I've never taken a decent flower photo in my life so take all this with a pinch of salt but I'm wondering if it would be better without the flower at the bottom? Someone once mentioned to me that an odd number (3,5, etc.) of flowers always looked more balanced than an even number and ever since they said that, I've had that (irrational?) preference.

I'm also wondering whether it would be improved if the view of the main flower wasn't hindered by the petal of the flower coming from the background?

    Best wishes.

All valid points Sean, was wondering myself about those very things! Tis a rockin cool plant, when the flowers are closed up looks like a clump of grass.

    Hi Nonda
I think the flower in the lower left pulls the eye away from the whole picture rather than supporting the image. I tried cropping it out. Maybe the cropped image is too tight???
    Lovely,gentle but sharp image.

Nonda, your colors are beautiful and I can feel the velvet of the petals...I think Gail's crop enhances the look.
