    Lots of interest here, Stuart with the tongue showing and the head plumes . I don't like that bit of leg showing, but I see your dilemma in that you probably didn't want to cut the feathers of his neck. Wish that the head was angled a bit more, but not a big deal here.

    I think pointing your lens a tad more to your left would have helped hide the leg part without compromising the neck feathers, and that would also have helped strengthen the composition IMO. I love the colours and the sharpness, as well as the expression on the heron's face :-)
