Image was created in the month of Nove,2015.

Basic editing. Cropped for composition. Canvas is added on the top. Something is lacking in the image.(my feeling). Your valuable advice is highly appreciated.

ISO: 800, 1/1250 @5.6. Spot metering. Manual settings.
    Canon 550D 100-400 mm.

Thanks for viewing, critiques and comments,
    Kind Regards,

Nice flight pose captured in excellent soft light, Satish.

    Satish:

I like the angle in frame, plays up his climbing flight, nice wing display, well exposed.

I often find solo birds flying against a featureless blue sky a bit uninspiring, because of no sense of depth. Perhaps that is what you are bothered by.

There is also some noise on the bird, even in the darker tones.

    Cheers

    Hi Satish,

I love the light on the bird and details in the whites. The bird is framed very nicely with your composition :)

The HA seems like the bird is looking over my right shoulder (less connection with me). Is it's head turned away slightly?

Some NR will help, I noticed it in the background first.

Yes it may be a featureless blue sky, but I love what I see because of the simplicity and the hue of the sky.

Karl, Randy Sir and Ross, Thank you very much for your feed back and kind compliments.
I will try to change the Sky by adding some clouds or totally replace the Bg.

    Regards,
    Satish.

A very nice flight shot, Satish, but I know what you mean. It seems to be lacking distinction, because of the plain background. The noise has been mentioned.

There's nothing wrong with the image, but I do agree that it feels a bit empty. I have the same reaction to some of mine where I have a plain bird against a blue sky. Nice, but not really telling much of a story. Perhaps this is a function of our growth as nature photographers, we are looking for that next level.

Hi Satish, looks like sweet light here, and well exposed on the whites. I agree, there is noise visible on the near wing, but capturing any subject in flight is an achievement.
