I like the cool and warm colours together Judy. The painted effect is terrific.

Beautifully done, Judy. It looks like a painting and I love the fall colors against the snow.

I agree that the fall colors against the snow, coupled with the blue sky, is lovely!

I agree with the previous comments about the contrast between the cool and warm colors. You're using the whole histogram, too. My eye flows through the image better and wants to stay there when I flip the image horizontally.

Thanks Cheryl and Dennis. Dennis, I might try flipping it.

I like the central wedge of color which connects the autumn colors with the snowy capped mountains.

Excellent composition with the brilliant autumn colors flowing horizontally and the peaks of the near and far mountains rising and falling vertically! It's especially lovely with the colors flowing up and interspersing with the whites, and then transitioning into full snowy whites. You choose the perfect position to capture this scene at this beautiful moment of mixing seasons and colors!

All said above -- very nice!! I have an urge to trim a little off the left to get the lager peak a little more out of the center. The more interesting subtle areas are a bit overpowered (at least to my questionable nervous system) by the trees near the left.

Thanks Diane, and for the suggestion. I'll try that when I have time.

Woo Hoo! Love those colors and the contrast between autumn and winter, especially with the orange trees curving upward into the snowy trees. Beautiful image. Beautiful processing. I don't need it flipped.
