Hi Karl. How could you have sat on this one for two years? Its a beauty. Gadwalls are gorgeous ducks in their understated way, and this catches the subtlety of plumage colors which are beautifully compatible with the bg. Good techs and nice head turn. Love it.

This is a lovely image. Bg colours complement the duck so well. Plumage detail is excellent. Well done.

Simply beautiful image of this duck, Karl. Love the light and and all the detail. Perfect complimentary BG. Like the beads of water on the head and neck.

Love this one Karl, Gadwalls are absolute beautys, especially in this kind of light, and the details are stunning on this one. Nice head turn, and low POV - a winner in my book.

I like the low angle and sharp details, nice BG too. I wish the bright patch of water wasn't sticking out of his tail and I'd also leave more space on the left

    Hi Karl

Love the bird details, background colour, and perspective.

Composition-wise I wonder if the bird is verging on being a little large in the frame?

Judging by the water that the bird is cutting through, I get the impression a subtle CCW rotation could be an idea.
