    This is a "holy grail" bird. Where did you photograph it? (don't tell me they are common in Holland!!).

    This is a beautiful, detailed image. I love portraits like this because they reveal detail like no other method. Very nice!

    I made this picture on the Greece Island of Lesvos. So don't worry, we don't have them in Holland:D

    Very nice portrait of a very nice species Alexander and it seems very tame too. Great approach. Terrific sharpness and light. Nice BG too. I would love to see aperture and shutter speed data. BTW the 300 lens performs very nice with the 2X. Did you stoped down the lens?

    Superb capture.....great details and colors...sharpness is fantastic....
    Is this tame bird....I am trying to photograph Ortolan bunting for last three weeks but I find them very hard to approach.....what was your technique...thx for answer
