    Taken last week. The terns were so numerous that it was a real decision on which one to track. A very welcome problem and not one that I always have.

    Nikon D300
    Nikon 300mm F2.8
    ISO 200
    1/1000, F6.3

    Nice problem to have indeed. :) The BG color is quite unusual. Was it hazy? Great light and pose and I would sharpen the bird some more.

    I really like the white on gray look and the diagonal composition, Judy. The light is beautiful. I agree with Axel about sharpening the bird.

    I love that flight angle and the landing gear is an added bonus...congrats..:cool:

    Great pose and light Judy! Like the composition also. Bird could stand some additional sharpening.

    What do you think?

    Auto white balance can be tough early or late.
    I took a bunch of yellow out.
    My Nikon files useally need that when using Auto WB early and late.

    Wow. What a difference the repost makes. These are 2 very different images. I still like the original with all the yellow a lot. Personal preference, I guess. :)

    Judy,
    In the layers palette, adjustment layers choose "Selective Colors".
    I usually pick the "whites" and reduce the yellow there.
