This is an image I worked on today from my spring beach chair photography at Ft. Desoto, Pinellas County, Florida. As the lyrics go from the Zac Brown Band song Toes "I've got my toes in the water, my a** in the sand, not a worry in the world", photographing the birds that stroll by or play in the water in front. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Very nicely done. Love the angle. Looks like the whites are hot on the rump, shoulder and head. I know some are going to say not the optimal head angle but since the bird appears to be in motion it is fine with me as I do not expect the bird to be watching me.

I envy you your idyllic setting and situation.

Nicely captured Joe, in the perfect surroundings. Love the layered BG. Nice detail on the bird, I agree with John about the whites, esp on the rump.

LOVE the color palette and the striding pose of the bird. I do wonder if a significant crop from the bottom might allow me to focus more on your bird and the pretty green water. Love the sand on his toes.
