    Default Ecuador hummer

I am in Quito working with the circus. I wish I had my long lens and some more photo gear. On the day off some of us rented adventure bikes and hit the dirt roads of the surrounding mountains. This photo was taken with a 5D and a 24-70 lens....the camera I grabbed out of the hand of my co worker:). This place is a paradise. I hope I can come back one day.

handsome bird with a very interesting and attractive perch, well done! I also like the small bug, but would try to sharpen it a bit so it's more visible. The BG is a bit distracting, especially the open patches, moving slightly to your right would have at least eliminated the largest open patch.

The bright highlights in the bg draw my eye a bit, I really like the pure simplicity of this image ,bird looks good and such a different perch, very nice indeed Lorant.
