This is towards the end of an encounter with the Machaton brothers who were feeding on a buffalo carcass taken down the previous night with Rachel. Sorry, Rachel didn't take it down with the lions, she was with me.This particular Lion was watching a Leopard who was just on the bondary hoping for any pickings left when the two brothers left. The light by now had just began to rise over the hill, allowing for some half decent light to come into the 'bowl' where we were positioned. The light really illuminated the rib/carcass nicely IMHO.
