Hi Sanjeev - Again with the cuteness factor! I agree with your self-critique and am a bit surprised that the windshield was up. They often put it down so it is not a factor. I might go a little lighter here if this was mine, especially in the midtones.

Of course we like it! Too cute for words and too special, Sanjeev. So sorry about the windshield, have you tried asking the ranger to drop it?
Still a lovely capture, I have yet to see a little cub like this! I just have this big issue about being in a game vehicle with other people, be it photographers or not. Too much talking and too much movement, all sorts of distractions. Driver cannot please everyone, so it ends up frustrating for some and rewarding for others. I just don't want to be one of the "frustrated" lot, LOL!
You did have a good look at the cub in this instance and also managed to frame this well, despite the difficulties. Funny enough, the windshield somehow worked in your favour, creating this OOF effect on the mother and allowing the cub to stand out:) Your choice of aperture had a similar effect. So no complaints from me Sanjeev - I think you did your best here, awesome little cub, colours look good, face and front paws sharp, maybe try a bit of NR on the BG...
Thank you so much for sharing,
Kind regards,

Cute moment indeed Sanjeev, aren't all Leopard cubs cute
I gather you weren't shooting through the windscreen right?, rather than a part of it was obscuring your FOV, as it would be highly unusual for any guide to put UP the windscreen, nonethelees you did well in difficult shooting cond's.
When leopard cubs are this age their muted fur make it difficult to extract good contrast & detail.

Thanks everyone, we were in a Land Rover 4X4 & Evan our ranger normally would fold the windshield down but that morn we straight headed out to the river bed to find the Cubs, the shield was up and I guess we all forgot about it till we reached the spot. We were too busy trying to find the right spot, as the best one was taken up by another vehicle with Nat Geo guys in it! The rover needed all the grunt it had as the sand was loose and with diff lock the ranger was keen on not getting stuck.

Hi Sanjeev this has a very high cuteness factor as most youngsters have ..... even for us big boys
.
The look of the cub is awesome , the techs do look given the fact that this was taken through glass .
