    Caught this goose preening in nice light. They are a much maligned bird but I think their feathering is beautiful.

    Canon 7D Mk2. Canon 100-400 L Mk2. Hand Held

    1/3200 @ f 5.6. ISO 800.

    Lovely image David. Nice feather detail and colours on the bird and I love the pose. I would crop less on LHS.

    David agree with Will some more on the left would have been good, detail and colour on the feathers is lovely.

    Nice light on the head. Nice overall details but I find it a little tight in the frame. I wish you had more room at the left and top.

    Hi David, lovely preening pose, and the colours on the head are spot on. Im seeing a bit of a blue cast on the near wing feathers, probably from the rich blues of the water. Comp wise, I would still have more space on the LHS.

    nice details, it's a bit too large in the frame and a better HA would be have been nice (the birds head is slightly turned away from us)
