Good to see a large number of Piping Plovers at Nickerson last week. They have been doing well here in years past and hopefully will do well again this summer.

The noise in the background and the head turn (not always achievable but nice / optimal when accomplished), but I hear a whole lot about doing some 'slight rotations" on low angle shorebirds.
I think folks might want to consider that just because little wavelets don't flow in straight lines (they are always coming from angles)...nor do little sand ridges always line up perfectly, it just might be more preferential to actually have the subject in the proper / original position (natural) cause when you rotate the background...the subject goes with it.
