This was taken at my backyard set up a couple of weeks ago. Cleaned up the beak a little with the clone tool. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Hi Jim, excellent exposure, tack sharp, and I like how the Woodpecker is away from the trunk, against your colourful BG. Well captured.

    What a nice BG....
A tad looser crop would work for me, but a fine shot as always from you..

Excellent capture, Jim. Very nice light, and a great BG. Good view of that song foot.

Classic WP image with a terrific BG...having said this I do find that there is a bit much room back there. Pointing your lens half an inch to your left, or had the WP leaned back more that would have been ideal, but I know we cannot always have it our way :-) I love the tree's bark, overall details, perfect exposure.

Very nice woody shot, nice separation from the tree, but for my taste I'd have preferred a little less room behind the bird

Jim the BG you have on this one is super, nice shap detail and good exposure, very nice indeed.

Super shot I like the pose and the plumage detail. Perhaps a slight crop from bottom right corner.
