Wonderful saturated colors and lighting on the honeycreeper! I also like all the fine details in the perch of tropical mosses, etc. It really anchors those fabulous bright red legs! Well done.
I also love the colors, as well as the dynamic way that the bird is perched. And, the oil paint filter works very well with this image.

Stuart, this is a wonderful image worthy of the Avian Forum. The head angle, brilliant color and clean bg are superb. The redo eliminates the bottom portion of the image which I feel is negative space. I've also added a bit to the left and top margin.
