    Image created last weekend at Kerkini lake, Greece. We were on an excursion boat and a group of White pelicans passed us at close range. I made a series of nice images but this is my favorite. It looks like a heavy bomber flying low over the water :)

    1DMkIIn, 500 f/4L IS + 1.4x II extender, tripod mounted.
    ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/3200

    Good exposure control and eye contact. Too bad the sun was not behind you and I agree, in this pose they look quite massive.
