Routine CEP4 Tonal Contrast and Detail Extractor. I used A Topaz Texture Effects vintage texture. I'm not certain it has a sufficiently vintage look to qualify for the theme.

This is superb! Vintage, too. It looks like it could be a lithograph from an old collection of Edgar Allen Poe works. The composition, the catchlight, the detail, the colors, the pose of the raven, and the background all combine to make an outstanding image. You started out with a good photo and made it even better.

The texture effect that you used added drama to this portrait. Nicely done.

Great detail on the raven, and as the folks in Avian say, good head angle! I downloaded Topaz textures but have not yet explored it. The textures and tones work very well together. And don't ravens ALWAYS invoke Edgar Allen Poe !

Hi, Gary, I'm late commenting but this is a great image in every way including the vintage look. I love ravens!

I love this Gary! I like ravens and crows anyway, and your processing is outstanding! I have never gotten close enough to one to get a shot like that even with the 100 - 400 as the ones around her are quite spooky.

Congratulations on third place. The details in this image are outstanding. Love the tones. Well done.
