    Nice showing the speculum. The face could use a bit of selective sharpening and you might wish to work on some of the specular highlights on the face and the base of the bill.

    Hi David,

    I can see the 7D MkII, with that lens and extender continue to deliver :) I am quite pleased with that combination as well, David.

    I do notice a little softer focus on the face as Arthur pointed out. I am sure being limited to center point AF when the extender is on, did not make matters easier in this shot. I have found it challenging to be real quick with BBF and recompose when the wings are flapping ;) Certainly is fun though :)

    I quite like the pose of the bird and perspective. The BG water is pretty good, considering the apparent strong sunlight.

    I am undecided about the bubble / wavelet immediately in front of the bird. Just wanted to mention my eye was drawn to it.

    Looks nice. I like to colors and the flapping pose.

    Lovely flapping pose, great light and colors. Specular highlights don't bother me at all. I would rather see a tad more room on top if you have it and less on the bottom.
