    Default Gray Ghost

7D, 100-400L, ISO 400, 365mm, F5.6, 1/2000, cropped from the left and into a slight pano. Minor PP.

Captured this guy as he was patrolling and not paying attention to the human as they normally do.

Fine capture John. I love the flight pose. Would like to see the bird larger in the frame.

Thank you. I like the turn a lot. I found I am into quirky looks with my photography now.

Thanks Will, I always struggle with tighter or looser crops.

    Hi John,

The second I opened this shot, a huge smile hit my face! That head turn with eye contact really does it for me.

I am with Will. A little larger, and perhaps a little higher in the frame may be worth trying out.

Yes to a nice head cock and a tighter crop. Be sure to put the bird's head dead center when you crop.... a

I like the tilted head, sharpness and would like to see a tighter crop as well. Very well done John!
