    Not sure what the bird is, but very interesting color patterns. It looks close to a Tropical Parula.

    Stuart I believe its a Collared Redstart. Was this taken at Savegre Lodge?

    Collared Redstart it is. Lovely little bird, nicely captured with a nice simple BG. Good perch too, although I might be tempted to crop up a bit from the bottom and add some at top, to reduce the heaviness of the stump.

    yes outside savegre sitting on a post didnt even think i had a chance to get it

    New bird for me!
    Agree it is a bit dark so would increase the exposure and go with comp suggested by Bill.

    Image does look a tad dark ,smashing little bird and very different to the Redstarts we have in the UK,do like the pose and the nice clean bg,very well captured.
