Captured at Paramount Ranch, in the Santa Monica Mountains NRA. This is an interior shot that was set up for a television show shoot, in a building that is normally empty as are all the buildings at Paramount Ranch. I used Topaz Texture Effects as well as two Flypaper textures. Base image courtesy of National Park Service (I have to say that because I was a uniformed volunteer when I took the picture and it is in the public domain).

Both the content of the shot and the processing give it a vintage feel. I like the angle at the bottom and all that light coming in. For some reason -- perhaps because it seems to be inviting even more light to enter, the open door on the right seems like an important element.

Agree with Dennis. One of the first things I noticed compositionally was the open door and how that gave depth to the outside. You were able to capture anchors (the sofas) and the distance together. the textures and light rays coming from the left keep it from being "flat" Well done. I assume that since you are volunteering again, that you are recovering well.

Lovely warm tones. This feels like a cozy living room. Great texture work. I wonder why the tree/plant in the corner is so light? Wish it were a bit darker so it blended in better. Great image for this theme.

Sepia says "vintage" to me and the varying shades and tons of interesting details keeps the eye moving around. Yikes, I recognize that type of upholstery with the large brass tacks! I like that there is very little details coming in through the windows, keeping your eyes in the room. I get a directional feel to the light with it being very strong coming in the windows on the left and fading as it goes right.

The choice of textures nicely fits the vintage of the room's furniture and fixtures. I like the open door allowing an easy exit after exploring the space.
