    The focus seems better on this shot. Must have been operator error or my imagination on my previous Pochard post. I am also getting the hang of DPP4 and liking it a lot.

    Canon 7D Mk2 Canon 100-400 L Mk2 Canon 1.4x extender Mk2 Hand held

    1/1000sec @ f 8 Auto ISO at 500 +0.33. Edited in DPP4 and PS6

    David:

    Sharp, nicely exposed, excellent eye/head colors. Good choice on the f/stop to give enough dof since he is angled in the frame.

    Even though he is angled away, I think he needs a bit of CW rotation, based on the circular ripples around him.

    Yep, rotation needed, but I love the details and colours...those blues and reds look really good together. Good light too.

    I like the pose, light, sharpness and composition. Rotation mentioned. Nice image David.
