    Default Harlequin Duck

Taken on Saturday, which was my birthday. :) I went to Sachuest Point NWR in Middletown, Rhode Island for the first time and it will definitely not be my last. I also want to thank Axel Hildebrandt for showing me this forum.

    20D, 400 f5.6, 1/800 @ f7.1, ISO 400.

    Thanks for looking!

Hi, Josh! Good to see you here. Harlequins are among my favorite birds and it's a lot of fun to watch them. You did really well, the exposure control and details are very good. I only wish for a bit more head turn. Keep them coming.

Hey Josh! Great to see you over here. I love this species and you did very well here. Just a bit of a nicer head angle would be my only nit. You could also try playing around with the water color a bit just to punch up the blues.

Nice image Josh. I was at Sachuest on Sunday with nothing this nice to show for it. Was this during high or low tide?

Hi Taylor. This was taken at low tide.
