    Default Juvenile Burrowing Owl

Here is another juvi BO frame from NM. we photographed these owls with Doug. The owlets were quite active and gave us some nice flight opportunities

Excellent downwing pose. I've never had an opportunity to try these guys in flight, but I'm guessing they don't make it easy. Great bg. I know these birds tend to be somewhat desert-colored, but I wonder if just a bit of black added to neutrals on the bird might give him more pop.

Nice pose as mentioned, maybe a bit of a head turn towards you would taken this up a bit...
I like the size of the bird in the frame, about perfect for me.

Great BG and perfedct wing down position,
I feel this image needs a bit more "pop". The owl seems a bit washed out.
I wonder if you added a couple of points of black to the neutrals would do the trick.

I've never seen the BO with the wings down this far! The 2-tone BG works well here. I don't disagree with Gail about a tad more pop or maybe a slightly tighter crop.

Superb wings down pose over a great 2 tone BG. Another killer frame in my opinion

I like the first one best. I thought it looked natural too. Love the down wings pose and the green BG. Sweet BO in flight frame Arash!

Hmmm...now that I see this with more contrast I have to say I prefer the OP.
