    I found this little guy in a local wetland here in Athens (Greece, Europe) just a couple of days before.
    Picture taken with a 350D and 300 f/4L IS + Canon 1.4x II. 1/320, f/5.6, ISO 400.

    A very attractive little bird in a simple setting. I do like the mood of this one and the colors. I think that it may be a little oversharpened. Perhaps a slightly softer look would add even more to the mood.

    What Lana said with the additional nit of the bird's head being in shadow. If the birds face was in the light it would have made a big difference.
