    I managed to capture this cygnet, just as the sun began to rise, on a local loch. From a portable hide at the lochside.

    Hi Will,

    I love how the water splashes suggest a skipping landing. The water droplets against the dark background are quite appealing to me as well.

    I think this is a great example where pano crop is powerful! Well chosen :)

    I like the pose of the bird, and HA.

    If anything, you may consider to drop highlights under the closer wing, and raise shadows slightly on the breast.

    Nicely captured. I did a browser scroll and I think that a slight trim from the top is an option. Love the action.
