Taken through kitchen window. No chance of getting that tail in focus from that position. Nothing much about in the garden this year- others say the same.

The out of dof range tail does not bother me one bit. Highly appealing image with a well balanced vertical comp to accommodate said tail. I clone out the two bright spots near the bottom, but all else looks good to me. Good job through the window, it must be thin or clean or both!

Lovely pose and cute tail! I agree on removing those 2 leaves.

    Hi John,

What a great image! Wonderful colors and composition.

I want a clean window like yours ... even better with what appears in it :)

One little detail jumped out at me. There appears a circular OOF area about the diameter of the "ohn" just under your first name in your signature.

    Thanks for sharing John,

    Ross

The repost is excellent. I would tone down the contrast a bit.

A friend did also in fact suggest that too. One of the easier fixes thank goodness.

Lovely image, John. Your image brings back memories of so long ago we used to flush Pheasants for sport. Thank you for sharing.
