I am aware that the feet and legs have soft focus. (sigh) Thanks for stopping by.

OOPS, I may have over-sharpened a bit here!

    Hi Shawn,
I like your close up pose the feet are great. Yes, it is perhaps a little soft. also some of your whites are a wee bit hot...Over all, nice capture...:D

Very nice pose and light, exposure looks good, too. I would give it a bit more room.

This is a riot, it really looks like an angelic ornament. I'd probably add more room all around.

    Hey Shawn,

The feet are soft...... :) joking man... they don't bother me one bit. This is a very interesting pose. Looks like an angel. Did you use fill flash??

    Shawn,
I love the pose and the title says it all.

The "soft feet" do not bother me and the "over-sharpened" face is real easy to fix.

I live symmetry, so I prefer the Egret to be perfectly in the middle, with more room on top.

Large in the frame verts, I will stick them right in the middle. Very in your face compositions.

Thank you everybody! I am surprised to see that many of you don't mind the soft feet.

Fabs, Axel and James, I have extra room so I will re-crop with extra space and place the egret in the center because of the symmetry.

Maxis, yes I did use fill flash.

Gus and James, I think I just rushed on this one with the sharpening. But a question- the whites look better before the image is downsized for the web. Some of the whites seem to spill over to the brighter side after the image is prepared and sharpened for the web. It happens often. Do you experience this? It seems that I must adjust the image darker just before re-sizing to avoid this.

Excellent pose, nice sharp eye contact. Some of the whites seem a tad hot, but that I will blame of the downsizing. (for now!) Good backdrop.

Is this re-submission better? Thank you for your input. :)

    Sweet!
IMO it could still use a little more room at the top.
    Thanks James
