A nice surprise this weekend to find a flock of Spoonbills, wading on the beach at sunrise. I had shot the same group the day before in the mud flats. They let me get as close as I wanted, But as expected, on the beach they were flushed by the first person to walk by. Just thankful for the few minutes I had.

Very interesting twisted pose. I'd make the bird less centered in the frame and maybe a little tighter crop. It is a little bright on my screen....but latest comments say my photos are dark, so it can be on my end:). TFS.

Very different pose which is nice, colours and the whites look good, bit worried about looking at reds on my gear but must say this looks ok,might be tempted to take a little bit off the left, just very nice work. my take of course.

I love the pose and the beach setting. Nice and sharp, and the incoming wave just oof enough. I do find the image a tad bright (and I thought so even before reading Lorant's comment), and I would have pointed the lens a bit more to the right, but still quite a wonderful image.

Lovely behavior you have captured here as well as light, but I would rework the composition.
