    Default Carolina Chickadee

I photographed this Carolina Chickadee using a multiple flash setup in Alan Murphy's backyard. Check out his most recent newsletter for details on the setup. It's surprisingly challenging getting everything right in a shot like this; lots of fine tuning of the flashes, perches, and triggers. But the results of your hard work can be pretty cool!

Awesome pose, great wing spread. It has Alan's signature all over it. I hope one day I can photograph in his backyard too. TFS.

Looks as though you did your homework. Killer image, Doug. The movement in the wings, the light and BG came together so nicely.
