    600mm and 1.4X
    ISO 1600 SS 1/200 F 7.1
    Took this last spring. Dull, grey day.
    Small crop for comp,usual LR5 sliders, NR and levels in CS 5. Nothing cloned or added.

    To bad you didn't get this in better light but the action definitely trumps the lighting. The HA towards us and the perfectly suspended fish both look great. I like it's little dorsal spines popped out as it's futile last means of defense. Nice action shot Gail. Maybe just a bit more saturation might add to this cool image.

    Killer action shot, Gail. I really like when you can see the fish suspended in the air between the mandibles, but never managed to get a shot like this.

    Great catch Gail.excuse the pun,like the bill open and you can see the fish,nice detail,not keen on the dull catch light, easy rectified if you wish too.well done.

    Gail the way you have caught the fish or at least the way the bird as is fantastic, also the water droplets on the bill, just shows grey days can work ,love it!.

    I like the fish and the water drops that emphasize the action, the colors look a bit too dull to my eye, and I also see some noise on the darker feathers
