is the original of one I posted in the OOTB forum. Cloned out a picnic table and very slight vibrance adjust. Taken in Giant City State Park, Illinois. Nikon D7000. matrix meter. 1/60, f9, iso 400. Taken about noon on a very overcast day.

A nice serene fall scene, I like the forest floor, the trees appear a bit muddy, maybe push the blacks a bit?

    Hi Hazel

Not sure about the colours as fall is just an accident in Australia... I like the repetition in the shot, but maybe I would have left a bit more room between the tree on the LH border and the image border..?

I like the scene and overall colour and mood, Hazel.
It does not look tack sharp though, perhaps an issue with your resize workflow?

Hi Hazel, Nice colors and composition since thew image is already a little soft I thought I would try the Orton light effect on it just to see how it would turn out

Hi Hazel - Nice colors and I like the sort of path down the middle of the image. Good points and suggestions above.

Hi Hazel, good suggestions given above for this scene...Don's Orton Effect really adds a nice look to the overall scene.
